Caldwell & Co of Philadelphia, 46mm, 18K gold OF original case with hidden rear hinge, snap on bezel, rear engraved with "GRP" initials on rear beneath a hand clenching a dagger, split function activated by button on band at 10:30, slide on band at 11 to allow or disallow engagement of chronograph function, gold cuvette signed "George R. Packard", white enamel DS dial, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, fully jeweled repeat train, 41J, 8 adjustments, s#78894 with matching serial number within case. Includes its original mahogany presention box with silk liner bearing both H.R. Ekegran and J.E. Caldwell & Co. marking. Gross weight of assembled watch 56.2 dwt (87.3 g). CONDITION: Mvt: GRO, good repeat function with good tone, near mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, few small micro-fine scratches; near flawless dial with only small fractures near edge under bezel at 12 and 3; near mint hands; case shows very light wear, small scratches on band around opening lips, small nick to band at 6 and on the rear near top of repeat slide, good engraving detail with polished finer details; tight bow, crown shows very light wear; good glass crystal; box shows very little wear, two cracks at bottom of box that do not impair opening and closing function.
